Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an ancient medical system that uses various practices to diagnose and treat illness by focusing on restoring balance in the body. Its core principles include the concept of vital energy, or qi, flowing through the body’s meridians, and maintaining balance between opposing forces known as yin and yang. TCM treatments include acupuncture, cupping and massage.
TCM views the body as an interconnected whole, where different parts and systems are linked. A treatment plan considers the overall balance of mind, body, and spirit.
