Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga weekend afternoon workshop

The perfect antidote to stress and fatigue, treat yourself to a whole afternoon of relaxation through practices that allow the body and mind to become still.
Yoga Nidra aka “Sleep Yoga” is a lying down meditation accessible to absolutely everyone regardless of fitness, flexibility or experience. It is hugely beneficial for many of modern life’s problems from stress and insomnia to digestive problems and migraines.
Restorative yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses lots and lots of props to make the postures really comfortable. You stay in each postures for a a few minutes allowing you to completely release into them. While you’re resting in each pose I give lots of hand-on adjustments for that extra little bit of nourishment and depth of practice.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring water and a favourite blanket if you have one. To maximise the benefits of the afternoon you should plan a quiet evening afterwards.
