Yin yoga is a slow paced style of Yoga. Incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese medicine. With  floor based asanas ( poses) that are held for longer periods of time from two minutes to five minutes or more.
This yoga focuses on moving with consciousness, body awareness, learning to feel inwards an understanding of our individual bodies rather than feeling the need to preform. In Mel’s classes, she shares her knowledge of the subconscious levels of the yoga practice and teaches with passion and love creating a journey both physical and inner through being fully present and aware.  The scene is set to candle light with a soothing yet powerful playlist and enough silence yet enough guidance too.
