The Sankalpa (Intention) of this Class is to create an environment of Reflective Relaxation through Restorative Asanas (postures), Breath Awareness, Meditation and Savasana practice.
Life increasingly dictates the importance of being busy forgetting that to rest, digest and reflect are equally important. My Class aims to promote the facilitation of such relaxation time. This Class is accessible to all with a wish to create a little space and time for themselves. The emphasis will be to nurture and restore.
Short biography of teacher
Hi my name is Tanya Davis . I have had an interest in yoga and the holistic approach to life for many years. I returned to yoga practice seriously in 2013 starting again as a beginner with classes at the Yoga Life Studio. This led me to taking up meditation which I do on a daily basis after my yoga practice. At the beginning of 2018 I found myself once again walking into the tranquil space that is the Yoga Life Studio and signing up to do the Yoga Life Teacher Training course with Wenche and Eva. What a transformational experience. I qualified in December 2018 and am excited to start my first class this January. My passion for promoting self reflection with relaxation is the fundamental principle behind my aims for my classes. Emphasis towards a nurturing and restoring environment for all.
